Ways to Get Involved
We offer a variety of opportunities for youth to engage with our work. View our Youth Engagement Toolkit for more information.
Youth can volunteer alongside a parent/guardian during pantry shifts or special projects (youth must be mature enough to take direction and help for a 2.5 hour shift with help from their parent/guardian).
Hosting a food drive is a great way for youth groups, schools, and clubs to make an immediate impact. Themed drives and meal kit projects are especially effective and engaging. Learn more on our Food Drive Page.
Youth can help assemble meal kits that provide families with easy-to-prepare, nutritious meals. This is a great hands-on activity for groups.
Teach youth how to garden by growing a row of food at your home garden and donate the produce to the garden. This offers opportunities to learn about growing food while contributing fresh produce to the pantry.
School & Group Partnerships
We love partnering with schools, youth organizations, scout troops, and student groups. Whether it’s a one-time project or an ongoing partnership, we can help create a meaningful experience tailored to your group.
